So it's snowing again. I'm sure others are not surprised, I'm not surprised, but geez. It's a heavier snow than the last storm, mixed with rain. I thought it was only supposed to be 4-6 inches but now it's looks more like 4-8. I am at home today, as are the kids and Mr. KA. Since Mr. KA is here at least I can have a work at home day and actually get stuff done.

Speaking of work today was the first "all" Company meeting. I had planned on going to the cafeteria to attend but now I'm watching on the web. It's interesting.

Also about work Staff Member-H (who is new) has asked that she rally needs to pick her daughter up by 5, and her husband can't do it etcetc, so I said she could leave at 430 even though she doesn't get in until 830. The new staff members were supposed to be without baggage and want to work and be there and not be a problem. :( I left it open ended with the idea that perhaps once she is up and running regarding our invoice process she can dial in at night and work. Yeah, not going to happen. She can not get paid if she won't be there for 8 hours until her daughter can find other arrangements.

Why am I the only one that arranges "coverage" for their children. I pay for it. LM#1 takes a bus from school to aftercare, that I pay for. LM#2 is in daycare with a great learning, I will keep him there for Kindergarten to allow him somewhere to be all day. Why aren't other people finding arrangements for their kids? I understand that it's a little extra money but they are working. I'm just frustrated.

The Superbowl was boring, I hate to see any team beat like that. It erases their performance throughout the year and it's sad. The commericals were more subpar than usual. I liked the Cheerios one, the BMW one with the British villans (for obvious reasons), the Full House one. Maybe one other that was cute but over all >:P I missed the trailer for Captain America: Winter Soldier, not sure how, must have forwarded right by it, so I will need to watch it online.

It's the best. This link takes you to a few photos of RDJ and Benedict Cumberbatch. *ggg* Awesome. http://cumbercrieff.tumblr.com/post/73933810021/sherlock-holmies-x
(yeah, I don't know how to do the link thing anymore)

Today the kids went to daycare/babysitting and the hubby and I spent some time together. I got a massage and then changed the sheets on the beds, washed/dried the towels, cleaned up and organized my area of the bedroom. I have to admit that I let it get really messy. Now there's a nice bureau and my tshirts are organized and I have a bad of clothes to be given away. Also cleaned my personal sink and went through some of the crap under it so it is better. Put away the cans for cookies.

Now I want to try and hang new frames on the wall. They will be empty for a bit but I want to redesign the wall in the dining rom. The hubby will pick up the kids and tonight we are going to have pancakes/waffles because I want to try out my new electric griddle. Also going to cook a pot roast for later in the week.

We tried Bitten, not bad, it get better after the first 15 minutes. Not sure what we will do but we are going to give it another episode. Part of me doesn't want to add anything anymore considering our watching list is so long, however the hubby pointed out that if we did that we wouldn't be enjoying Lost Girl.

Regarding Lost Girl, most interesting start to the season for sure, very well done. And I think that Ksenia Solo looked incredible, not sure if it's because she's slightly older or she gained just a few pounds, but she just seems rounded out and more gorgeous. Or something.

I’m working from home today, so I’m trying to do personal things in between. I have ... lots of TV to watch: last week’s Merlin, two weeks of Last Man Standing, Monday Mornings, Hawaii 5-0 and I recorded Smash... but I don’t think I’ll watch it. I think I need to walk away from it.

We leave for Disney in five days and I’m starting to freak out about the packing but since we leave on a Monday, I have the weekend, which is nice. Sadly I’m battling some sort of congestion/cold that will not go away and now the hubby has a sore throat. Here’s hoping the kids stay healthy.
