Kids
An update on LM#2 and his sleeping Things are going well So he has stayed in the bed Tuesday through Thursday, although early this morning he woke up and called for me. I went to him, he didn't want to sleep anymore (it was about 2am or so). I explained it was the middle of the night, he had some water. I told him he had to stay, it was still sleeping time. I left. He cried and yelled for me, but it lasted less than five minutes. Then I heard his music turn on, he did it himself and the was quiet and fell back to sleep until I woke him at 6:15.
Things are going well. I could have done without the middle of the night wake up call, but I'm so proud/glad he stayed in bed and went back to sleep on his own. So hopefully we can continue in this direction.
Tonight and tomorrow he is allowed to sleep in his brother's bed so he will be happy. Plus tomorrow he will be at my parent's house, so hopefully he sleeps through the night and doesn't give them any problems.

What is with all the awkward sex? The Bridge: S1, E7: Destino Dude, what the hell? The guy high on drugs, dancing/bouncing naked to music wearing only a sock; Charlotte across the top of the desk asking if the dude is trustworthy; and the dude going down on the madame in the truck. Seriously? None of it was needed and most of it was awkward and stupid. It did not advance the plot.
The rest of the episode about finding the guy. The deputy getting his head blown off, Ruiz walking around looking like he was fighting zombies. Cross coming to terms with her mortality (that's what I got out of the last scene). Frye having a hard time dealing with his withdraw symptoms. This was all very interesting.
There is no way that crazy guy orchestrated everything, so only part of the mystery is solved I think. But again, the crazy sex? Needs to stop.
I still can't quite get used to the episodes just stopping, I'm so used to shows having a cute three or four minutes of fluff, but these suckers just end. Teen Wolf: S2, E7: Restraint One of the funniest scenes was Scott's mom finding the box of condoms and dumping them to only have one fall out. Sadly, this was followed by one of the stupidest moves a mom could ever make: approach the mother of the girl your son is sleeping with. Seriously? She thought that was a good idea?? Come on! And if you want to make sure your son is continuing to be safe, buy the condoms or talk to him.
Oh Allison, you come across as weak but you are strong, however I doubt your common sense. You really thought following Jackson into the boys locker room was a good idea? It cracks me up that he was able to pull his shorts on before Scott arrived and they fought. Did feel bad for Matt being pulled into detention, but I don't understand the motivation of picking up someone else's tablet, turning it on and sending himself the info. That seemed... farfetched.
Detention was interesting. Jackson seems to have a little bit of himself under control if you believe he wrote the blackboard message. Perhaps the Chemistry teacher did it to scare the kids away. And the relationship between the Kanima and master, not sure how "two way" it is. If he could see what Jackson sees he would already know that Scott and friends aren't normal high school kids.
The scene of Derek trying to treat Erica was painful, and I loved her little comment to Stiles about Batman. I'm hoping this means Erica will lose some of her attitude. I know that her life was rough before being bitten, but not everyone was a dick to her, some people just didn't see her (like Stiles).
And Scott joining the pack was good, finally.
Teen Wolf: S2, E8: Raving OMG poor Stiles Dad! That scene was really good, I loved that Stiles seemed like a regular teenage, so upset, but not knowing what to do. It would be nice if maybe his Dad could be privy to what is going on. Stiles has to lie so much and you can see that he bothers him.
So is Allison's mom dead? (Again, the ep just ends) And I have to say that it's her own fault. Of course no one is going to see it that way, not in the Argent family. But she tried to kill Scott over sleeping with her daughter, that's a big of an over reaction, yea? *g* But Chris Argent, I am starting to love him more and more. Those eyes, that jaw, the thigh holster. *yum* And you can see that he is nothing like Gerard, he can see some grey in the world where the supernatural is involved.
So, I know this is a high school show and all, but that dancing threesome of Jackson, Issac and Erica? Oh so very hot. I actually braved the wrath of my streaming and rewound it, cause for a second I thought that Jackson and Issac would kiss. Then claws came out and ruined everything. :P But I see a change in Issac and Erica and I hope it lasts, their attitudes are less. And Issac completed the mission even though he hurt.
I also enjoyed seeing Stiles do something to help, that he believed not in just the ash but in himself. He seems to not have a lot of confidence in himself yet he is so important to the whole group. It was also nice to see that Scott called on his alpha for help and Derek came without question. (That exchange between Derek and Stiles was nice as well, Derek just knowing he had to go, and Stiles questioned but didn't push.)
If Allison's mom is dead this is not going to go well for Derek at all.
Tonight Mr. KA's friends are coming over to play cards, I plan to watch more shows. Tomorrow the kids are going to my parents and we get until Sunday around 4 free. I'm looking forward to spending some time with the hubby, getting some things done around the house.
I set up an appointment with the Salvation Army and they are coming to the house today to pick up a couch and chair and four bags of clothes. This opens up our basement. I bought these very colorful chairs from Kohls that can also fold up. My thought is to leave two folded and two out and that will allow for comfortable xbox playing. Without the couch the kids should be able to use the Kinect on the xbox better.
Also bought new wall shelves for the bathroom stall shower. I need to remove the old ones and scrub and scrub to get everything as clean as possible, then install the new ones. I'm excited about the new ones as it has holes for turning shampoo bottles upside down. These will also hold more weight. (It's seriously the little things.)
