Wow... the betrayal

kimannebbThe kids have been at my parents and we've had the house to ourselves. We went to dinner and did some things around the house. I cleaned the stall bathroom really well and installed new shower shelves, the kind that are pressure held. They look good, they are bigger than the old ones. I wonder if I can put all my stuff on one shelf. It doesn't state how much the shelf will hold so I'm hesitant to pile it all one.
Also cleaned up the basement and unpacked new chairs. They are very "college" like but they can folded and stored against the wall. This will allow the kids more room to play when they aren't playing XBox. They are very colorful: purple, green, yellow and blue. Now we just need to figure out when we are updating the rugs and walls etcetc. But I want to get the patio finished first.
We've been watching stuff, only have the last half of Burn Notice from last week to watch. We are almost done the movie Django Unchained as well.

House of Cards: S1, E6 I have lost a lot of respect for Frank Underwood with this episode. Until now most of what he did was manipulate people and use his knowledge to get things done. But this episode was so full of things that were out and out wrong it unbalanced everything he was doing. Sure you need to get a little dirty sometimes, but this was a full on mud bath.
Not a fan. And I'm not sure how I feel about watching more if he is going to be such a dick. Next, he'll be breaking laws.
Teen Wolf: S2, E10: Fury Deargod. Scott. Scott!!!! That kind of betrayal is deep and I was not expecting it to be like that. I was happy when Scott joined Derek's pact, I thought it would be good for both of them, but Scott did it just to get close and pass the info onto the Argents. Now Derek knows, and I'm not sure how he is going to get through that.
This is where I have to remind myself that the character is only 16 or 17, he is easily manipulated and he didn't think he had a choice, he wanted to keep him mom safe and be with Allison. Of course if he just talked about it with someone... (which is my biggest problem with the show Pretty Little Liars). I also have to remember this for Allison as well because Gerard is manipulating her so easier, it's aggravating to watch. And I'm sure that letter from her Mom doesn't mention how she was going to kill Scott and that Derek came to save him. I'm sure that's not in there.
I can't believe that Gerard killed Matt by drowning. That. That is awful. Yes Matt arranged to have people killed, but, geezus, it seems so wrong for him to die that way. (And a little nitpicking, no way that Gerard could go from the front of the station all the way to the back and catch up with Matt in that amount of time. Just saying.)
There is obviously something wrong with Gerard (healthwise) as he keeps popping those pills. The question though is, what does Peter want with him? Does he blame Gerard for the fire? I was under the impression that Kate instigated the whole thing. And Peter? Not sure what the hell is going on there. Deaton is useful, but he needs to share more info, not just teeny tiny pieces.
Another great thing that happened is that Scott's mom saw the Kanima, Derek and then Scott in wolf form. Opens the door and perhaps we don't have to deal with sneaking around like that. Now Stiles's Dad ... I'm not sure how much he saw. He worked so hard to get off the wall only to be bashed on the head.
And a fun part was watching Stiles fall on top of Derek, and then the way they talked while paralyzed. *g* Fun times.
I have the VMAs recorded, not sure when I will watch it, perhaps I'll flip it on and off tonight but i'll most likely go through the whole show tomorrow morning after getting up and exercising.
Now to figure out how I'm going to spend the next four hours without kids... laundry, reading, more basement clean up... maybe a nap *g*
