As you guys know that if I watch a show by myself I sometimes fall behind and since the regular TV season started... well... I'm behind.
But. I finally watched . Dude. Where is the fic????
Between Christian Kane getting a haircut, which I think makes him hotter and the fact that my threesome was together for the whole ep! I need fic. :)
If Leverage was like this every week I would enjoy it a hell of a lot more. I love it when Eliott, Hardison and Parker are together and then in this one there was trust issues, and touching, and kissing, and gun shots, and just... it was lovely. I need more of that. A shame the season is over I can only wish they would play up the three of them more. Who needs Nate and Sophie? *gggg*
I was alway really looking forward to Hawaii 5-0 based on the previews. Steve and Danny in mortal! peril! What more could you ask for? Perhaps more mortal peril? I thought it was good, I enjoyed this one more overall than the one before it. *g* However there could have been more Danny and Steve trying to get themselves out of trouble. And a little less Danny ranting.
I love Danny, but I will be the first to admit that he rants/complains way too much. I thought the whole "shark week" thing was funny, and warrented, but then I thought when he conitnued to complain on the boat - it was a little much. There wer glimpses of the closeness I crave between them (Danny sharing what happened to his friend, Steve talking honestly about fixing the boat). It was nice. And it was nice to know that Steve seems to have confided in Danny about his Mom.
Chin, my heart goes out to him, sadly it will be a while before he can be "normal". And I think him attacking Adam is a too much, I realize he is reacting and projecting his anger on a place he thinks it's warrented, and it seems like Kono knows that, but still.
And I really loved the ending scene where they were all together sharing Danny's tuna. *g*
So the second "new" show of the TV year has been axed by us. First it was The New Normal - but now that Matt Bomer is going to be guest starring I'm going to have to record that episode. And the second is Elementary. It's only two episodes, and normally that isn't enough, but I have such a full plate. And while the chemistry between Sherlock and Joan is good, the rest of it is boring. I did not find the "mysteries" very hard or compelling and it was just like most of the other crime proceedurals on TV. So, sadly, I'm letting it go.
Right now Go On is funny, the second episode of The Mindy Project was hysercial. Seriously made up for the lackluster pilot episode.
On the fence is Partners, I think it's cute and was really amused by the second episode and I think the banter and timing between Sophia Bush and Michael Urie's characters is great and it makes me smile. Revolution is ok, it's really good in bursts, but my main problem is Charly. I don't think she is a good actress and the character is whiney and unreasonable.
I will say though after only one epeidoe of Arrow I'm really excited about it. I thought it was really good, dark, I like the dark aspect. Mr. KA pointed out that Oliver Queen has killed more people in one episode than Clark did in many seasons, if not series of Smallville LOL Which is kind of true.
I like his friend Merlyn (love the name), but I also like that he thinks something is up with Oliver, not sure what, but something. Hopefully Oliver brings him into his secret, but I suspect that won't happen for a while.
I'm on the fence about Laurel. While I enjoyed Katie Cassidy on Supernatural I'm not so sure about her here, she just seems... not great, but we'll see. I did like the tiny twist at the end of it being his mom and not the new step father, perhaps they are in on it together, but it's nice to see something slightly outside the predictable norm.
But this is my fave new show right now. *g*
Tomorrow is a packed day. After sleeping in (Mr. KA is awesome!) I will take the kids food shopping, then there is a soccer game, then we are going to a local school for a Pumpkin Festival. Hopefully it isn't too cold.
