Crowley gets the best lines

Caught up with Supernatural last night. Some thoughts on I enjoyed the episode, I like that the brothers aren't sure what the other went through in the missing year. It brings a different dynamic to things. I loved Kevin's Mom, she was kick ass and awesome - a shame she it ended that way for her, however it does leave the door open for her to return (eventually).
I thought the little dude who wanted Thor's hammer was kind of funny, mostly because he was small and the hammer big (which the brothers should have taken with them...). The guy that gave the invitation was amusing as well, however the fact that he broke the rules of the auction was annoying. Be a bit more creative if you wanted Crowley to possess the Mom, something. And while I thought that itself was clever, I just didn't like that they broke the rules. Does no one have any respect for rules anymore? *g*
I do think that Dean has a problem. While I can understand him justifying killing Mrs Tran because Crowley was in her (and he did hesitate just a second, if not Mrs Tran would be dead). He just didn't have any feelings when he contemplated it. He survived in Purgatory, a human, which is difficult and most would say impossible. But Dean did it, mostly on his own. (And with the last little clip it eludes to perhaps Dean sacrificed Castiel, whether he was left behind to fend for himeself or that he's dead. I don't think he's dead so my guess is that Dean left him.) But that time in Purgatory desensitized him to violence and killing on a whole other level.
I also think it was a reckless of Dean to leave the knife in a box. Seriously, any demon or angel, could have (and should have) walked away with it. And the fact that Dean came so fully loaded was disrespectful - that just bothered me, Dean should at least try to be less of an asshole.
And I can understand why Kevin left, but that line about when Dean no longer needs someone, they die. That was harsh, and I'm not convinced that it's true. But it struck deep. Overall the episode was good, I'm just not sure where they are going with the whole Sam feeling nothing, and Dean numb. Not a good combo I think *g*
Pumpkin Festival was alright today. In and outside a local elementary school and it was interesting. I bought some raffle tickets and put those in some buckets for a chance to win stuff. It benefits the PTO which is nice and since this was our first year we had no idea how to do anything. Kids had snow cones, LM#1 ate the whole thing and LM#2 ate half.
Tonight more tv watching, not sure what is on tap, we still have Sunday shows from last week. Sheesh.
