Supernatural: Bitten So... they tried something different, kudos - all for different. However that doesn't mean I have to like it. Sadly I didn't enjoy most of the episode, I can't stand handheld camera angles and running and shaking and off center filming. It's annoying to me, not the least of which sometimes makes my stomach filp.
Add in that Sam and Dean were on camera maybe 10 minutes total, in a show about Sam and Dean, and you kind of have me irritated. And the final straw is that while the idea of "pure breeds" is interesting, that they would be more powerful etcetc --- why didn't Sam and/or Dean know about it before now? They've been hunting for 20 years. You'd have thought it would have been at least a foot note somewhere.
Just. *sigh* The two highlights of the episode for me was the kids thinking that there was a workplace romance going on, it tickled me, and that both Sam and Dean were letting her go. It's nice to see Dean have a lighter stance on "a monster is a monster". But other than that? I will never watch this episode again. Ever. In my opinion there is no reason to, there was almost no interaction between Sam and Dean, no development, forward moving of the storyline or character arcs. Just... no thank you.
Arrow: Lone Gunman The X-Files has ruined that phrase for me *g* This was good, solid I thought. I'm still on the fence about the acting ability of the guy playing Oliver but since they don't give him a lot to say, it's working out. Laurel kicked ass... literally and it was awesome!!
I liked that Oliver didn't make a big deal about of Merlyn sleeping with Laurel, that was nice we avoided a pissing contest. However the idea that Merlyn still wants to get with Laurel - odd now that Oliver is returned. And of course there will be a triangle later I'm sure.
I'm happy that Oliver let Diggle in on his secret, at least that is the assumption considering the end of the episode. I do think they need to branch out from the storyline of the journal and trying to bring those to justice. I know that's his focus but those names will run out eventually. :)
Once Upon A Time: The Crocodile" Captain Hook is hot!!! :) I love that it's Hook, I had the fleeting thought when we were first introduced to him, but then dismissed it... until the hook fell to the deck. And then there was Smee! Awesome.
I kind of enjoyed this episode, Hook with his dark rimmed eyes, and Rumple being TikTok Croc (Haahaahaa), it was cute.
I was eh about Belle and Rumple, but I find their love affair sweet, mostly thanks to Emilie de Ravin's portrayal which I thought at first was over the top, but now the totally out of place, naive character works for me. And of course she would end up in the bookstore. But who's going to pay her? *g* I suppose only I would have that shock of reality in a show based on mythical and fantasy characters.
*heehee* Rumple is the crocodile, too funny.
I'm getting my hair done tonight, finally. It's way overdo, but what can you do when your friend in on vacation. Probably getting two inches off the bottoms, shorten up the layers, dying it, highlighting it red again, and having her blow dry it straight. Yep, gonna be there for a looong time - thank goodness for my iPad.
The dieting has been awful, I think I've gained back 6 of the 15 I had originally lost, but after LM#2's birthday, Halloween, anniversary, Mr KA birthday... that is when I will get back on the wagon.
DWTS - this week was intersting. I did not agree with the judges on Tuesday night, I thought they were overly hard on Shawn Johnson, while way too lenient on the group dance. While the group dancing to Gangum style was hilarious, it was bad. There were not in time with each other, the individual dances were not filled with much of anything, and it was just all over the place. It should have been 8's, not 9's. The Call Me Maybe group from Monday was awesome, that was incredible. This season is just weird because you have so many that are so good and you still have 8 people left.
Today is a shorter das I'm meeting Mr KA to sign the refinance papers, woohoo to a lower rate and a lower monthly payment. :)
