I hate time travel

NCIS: Hit and Run I have to admit that I feel as though this was one of the few truly bad episodes they have had. While the plot was easy to figure out, it was the group interaction that just bothered me. And it all stemmed from such a contrived reason for Abby to lose it. And it really annoyed me because she did help the girl, she returned the bear. And she went above and beyond by replacing it with a bunny!!!!!
I just feel as though Abby has been through too much, helped too many people to be struck that dumb by the physical similarities between the two cases. Saying that, I still thought that Gibbs having the fortune (which was beyond corny!!!) was sweet. He does love his Abbs.
Supernatural: As Time Goes By I’m with Dean: I hate time travel. However, I did enjoy this episode outside of that plot point. *g* I liked learning of the Men of Letter, I actually wish they spent a little more time on it. I find it hard to believe that there was only one sect/group in the US, and not multiple locations. So when that attacked happened, they were wiped out (except for the blind dude). Also liked seeing how, at one time, there was a hierarchy in battling the supernatural.
What I didn’t like was Dean. And I love Dean. But I want the writers to acknowledge that he would grow as a person. He would not, week after week, take the high argumentative road that is all black/white and no grey. While I can understand Dean’s point of view, that because Henry chose the job over his son, that son lost his father. In turn, John chose the job/revenge over his own sons. The cycle repeated. I know Dean is hurt and while he keeps singing “Dad did the best he could” I think he doth protest too much. As a character he needs to come to terms with the choices John made, and yes John loved them and did the best he could, but did not put them above the job. And that bothers Dean. I’m sure he looked at Henry and thought, if Henry stayed home, then John would have been different. Except that Dean can’t know that. And so while Dean ranted at Henry, ultimately he sees the grey, stops Henry from going back in the past again ...why can’t we have a mature Dean do that first? You know, instead of making himself look like an ass.
What I want for this show is to grow the characters consistently. Have Dean stop growling and pissing on everything first before hearing out a story and Sam keep his eyebrows where they belong instead of climbing up his face. Oh and how did Sam not see the twist coming at the house? Come on! :PP I suppose I want too much. Ha!
Arrow: Vertigo Poor Oliver. I think the last scene really brought it home for me. He seemed so devastated but hiding it outright due to Felicity. I love that character, I’m glad she called Oliver on his bullshit excuses and I hope she will be brought into the circle of trust soon. I think she is needed, plus Oliver wouldn’t have to come up with such horrible explanations!
I do think that Diggle needs to be more of a presence, he knew Oliver should not have gone after The Count in his condition and while I agree that he was not going to stop, I think Diggle needed to be close for backup or support. Something. And while I as wishing, I wish there were more scenes between Tommy and Oliver *gg*
I keep enjoying the show and each week it’s pretty solid. Plus, you know, the guy is hot and has a great body. So does Diggle. Perhaps they should spare more often, with less shirts. *g*
Justified: season four so far I won’t be able to separate the episodes but...how I have missed Raylan. I have to say, that there just something about the man, he is just hot and sexy and it’s rubbing off on Tim. And then there’s Boyd. And just – I find them all hot in different ways. What I like so far this season is Rachel, first we’ve seen more of her, and second there is more going on than the “by the book” person we’ve seen so far.
They are trying their hand at a season long mystery and I hope it works out well. Not sure where Boyd thinks he’s heading but ... I’m afraid I don’t see a non-bloody ending to his life. Hopefully that is not soon, but we can’t keep a character if there’s no additional stories to tell.
Mr. KA and I have a date tomorrow, we are going to the Movie Tavern. A place where we can have dinner and watch a movie at the same time. Sadly their choices of movies were slim since we saw two of them and don’t want to see a 3D movie. I’m seeing Warm Bodies and I just hope it’s amusing, please let it be funny.
